Notice of new RfC on aligning community CTOPs with ArbCom CTOPs
[edit]Hi Theleekycauldron: You previously participated in this April 2024 RfC on community contentious topics and their relationship with ArbCom's contentious topics. There is now a new RfC on this topic that you may be interested in. Best, KevinL (aka L235 · t · c) 20:03, 22 October 2025 (UTC)
Housekeeping: redirect blocking draft move
[edit]Hi @Theleekycauldron, thanks for reviewing.
To clarify, this edit wasn’t an attempt to push an unapproved draft into mainspace, but a routine housekeeping step under WP:G6 (“deletion to make way for move”). The redirect at Josh Simons (entrepreneur) currently prevents another editor from moving Draft:Josh Simons (entrepreneur) once it’s approved.
It’s a bit of a chicken-and-egg issue. The draft can’t be moved or approved while the redirect exists, but the redirect can’t be deleted unless tagged. Tagging with db-move simply notifies admins to delete the redirect when appropriate; it doesn’t promote the draft or bypass AfC. Would you be open to restoring the tag so when the move is ready an admin can handle deletion?
Appreciate your time. Musicwikifan (talk) 22:21, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Musicwikifan: Howdy! When the AfC reviewer approves the draft, but before it's moved into mainspace, they'll know to put a g6 down if they need an admin's help. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 22:44, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
Agender page
[edit]Hey ive just got to explain but ive been having alot of problems getting agender into mainspace. You said that the draft is not accepted. Which it isnt, but only because it cant be accepted until the redirect is deleted. Ive tried so many things and every time I get told "go here" "do that" and then repeat. What do I do? Do I propose deletion but as controversial now? Pencilceaser123 (talk) 03:46, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, Pencilceaser123! Right now, it's not accepted because no one has reviewed it. If it's accepted, the AfC reviewer will sort out the necessary page moves/deletions to put the draft in mainspace. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 03:49, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- I am the AfC reviewer and I am trying to sort out the necessary page moves/deletions. I cant accept the draft until the redirect is deleted. Pencilceaser123 (talk) 03:53, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- If another reviewer tries to accept the page they will run into the same problem. They will need the redirect to be deleted and have the history merged Pencilceaser123 (talk) 03:55, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Pencilceaser123: Oh, you're the reviewer? I didn't realize because you've edited the page so extensively. Pinging Robert McClenon because I'm not sure what he had in mind for the page history. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 04:31, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Well I was originally hoping to avoid AfC and get the draft into mainspace after I fixed it up. But ive had so many issues. Pencilceaser123 (talk) 04:34, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- User:Pencilceaser123, User:Theleekycauldron, User:KylieTastic - There is substantive history in Agender that needs to be preserved. Do you want me to accept the draft by doing what needs to be done to accept it while preserving the history? It will be easier for me to accept it than to explain what needs to be done. Are you asking me to accept the draft? Robert McClenon (talk) 07:47, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Yes that would me nice Pencilceaser123 (talk) 07:49, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Pencilceaser123, normally as an AfC reviewer using the {{Db-afc-move}} should be enough - although some admins still reject if not marked under review. However, as a major contributor of the article and a new reviewer it certainly would be better to allow another reviewer to review. As the existing page does have an extensive history the page should be preserved as Robert has noted. If Robert is happy to accept as a reviewer or do a WP:PAGESWAP as a Page Mover request that's fine. If not you should either leave for another reviewer for the AfC route or request via Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests. Note as this is not a subject area I work in, so I have not reviewed the draft. Regards KylieTastic (talk) 09:29, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- User:Pencilceaser123 - I have accepted the draft at Agender. I will not try to explain what I did, because it had two complications. First, I accidentally moved the history to the wrong place and had to do an additional move. Second, User:KylieTastic cleaned up when I was about to clean up. Too many cooks did not spoil the broth, because each of them knew that the other one had been in the broth. Robert McClenon (talk) 17:10, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! Pencilceaser123 (talk) 20:04, 27 October 2025 (UTC)

South Station Bus Terminal
[edit]Hi TLC, a quick note about the South Station Bus Terminal DYK. The Port Authority proposal by Josep Lluís Sert explicitly included a 5,000 space garage. That same article later mentions the downtown district plan saying that a garage for 3000 to 5000 cars at South Station is 'a mandatory part of this complex and a hotel-motel would be a desirable use'
; however, that's separate from the Port Authority/Sert proposal. Would you be able to adjust the DYK hook back to the 5,000 number? Thanks, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 00:24, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Pi.1415926535: Done, sorry about that! theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 00:30, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks so much! And no worries - I very much appreciate your efforts to verify hooks. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 00:39, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
