Your blind removal of content with new source without discussion on talk page
[edit]
Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Paul Walker, you may be blocked from editing. If you had stepped backed and acted like a Wikipedian for one second and not edited on bias and emotion you would have noticed I added a brand new source, yet you didn't and didn't even acknowledge it and assumed nothing was added. Stop blindly reverting. - R9tgokunks ⭕ 04:02, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
Abuse of warning templates
[edit]
Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User talk:R9tgokunks has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. If an edit seems like vandalism but you cannot confirm that it likely is, don't warn the user. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Your use of a warning template asking for a reliable source is baseless retaliation. Again, If you had looked at my edit, you would have seen the new source I added, rendering your message on my talk page irrelevant. - R9tgokunks ⭕ 04:05, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
Wikimedia Hackathon Northwestern Europe 2026
[edit]Hello! I noticed you're a bot operator, so I thought you might be interested in a hackathon we're organizing: the Wikimedia Hackathon Northwestern Europe 2026, on 13–14 March in Arnhem, Netherlands.
It's a two-day, technically oriented hackathon bringing together Wikimedians from the region. Whether you want to work on bot frameworks, tools, or other technical projects, this could be a great opportunity to collaborate with fellow developers. Registration closes mid-January or when full. Let me know if there are any questions. Hope to see you there! Daanvr (talk) 09:30, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
Wikimedia Hackathon Northwestern Europe 2026
[edit]Hello! I came across your name on a previous Wikimedia hackathon participant page, so I thought you might be interested in this.
We're organizing the Wikimedia Hackathon Northwestern Europe 2026, taking place on 13–14 March 2026 in Arnhem, the Netherlands. It's a two-day, in-person hackathon for technical Wikimedians from the region.
Since you've attended a hackathon before, you already know how valuable these events can be for collaboration, learning, and getting things done together. We'd love to have you join us!
Apply here – registration closes mid-January or when full.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Hope to see you in Arnhem! Daanvr (talk) 14:54, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Daanvr: Thanks, but I cannot afford to travel and I'm not active enough for a scholarship. I appreciate the heads up, though.--v/r - TP 16:45, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @TParis, This event does not work with scholarships. Application is free and if your application is accepted hotel, food and drinks are payed for. The only expense to the participant is the logistics of travel itself. For train and bus there is an extra financial help if you want to apply for that separately. Let me know if you have any impediments for registration. Daanvr (talk) 06:53, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
