The following is a list of users who have volunteered to act as mentors to Good article reviewers. New reviewers are strongly encouraged to contact one of the editors below on their user talk page for assistance and advice on using the Good article nominations process, applying the Good article criteria, and producing a good review. All reviewers are welcome to contact mentors for advice on individual issues.

Mentors often specialize in reviewing articles within a particular area. They also may have expertise in a particular aspect of the Good article process. This is indicated after their user names below. If you wish to mentor new reviewers please add your name to the list. Add name
bibliomaniac15 (talk·contribs) – Mostly experienced with CVG and organism GAs, but I'm pretty sure I can handle image, citation, and general questions about GAN.
Ritchie333 (talk·contribs) - I've improved over 100 articles to Good article status and reviewed nearly 150. I'm particularly keen on music, albums and places/geography articles.
MarioSoulTruthFan (talk·contribs) - I have around 60 reviews done so far. I tend to review music related articles. Happy to mentor anyone.
FunkMonk (talk·contribs) — I mainly work on zoology articles, but have an interest in art (broadly speaking) and history as well.
Iazyges (talk·contribs) — I mainly work with history, but happy to help out where needed.
Gog the Mild (talk·contribs). I have nominated 80 GAs, mostly on military history. I have reviewed 180, and would be happy to mentor on anything outside popular culture and sport.
Kingsif (talk·contribs) – Happy to help with prompts for applying criteria to articles. And will take on pop culture and sport. (GA reviews)
Trainsandotherthings (talk·contribs) — My expertise is mostly in rail transport, but I'm willing to help with just about anything.
Goldsztajn (talk·contribs) — Happy to help in general, experience (expertise?) in 20th/21st Century history, politics, economics, sociology, law, gender, film, development studies, industrial relations. Strong interest in global south related issues.

Hi all, this relates to the post above. There was a brief discussion at WT:GA where there seemed to be some interest in further consolidating GA-related discussion pages. While this page was clearly set up with an interesting and distinct scope, it seems like good article help requests are mostly going to Wikipedia talk:Good article nominations (for many examples, see its most recent archive). So my question: should we close this help desk? "Closing" would probably mean marking this page as historical, removing the tab from the GA-pages header, moving the resources to the GA instructions page, and linking the archives to one of the more highly trafficked talk pages (as at the top of WT:GA). Done based on the feedback at the previous discussion and here, I've gone ahead and marked this page as historical with a note redirecting discussion to Wikipedia talk:Good article nominations. I'll make sure the resources at the top of this page are linked elsewhere and that the archives are linked elsewhere, and then I'll de-link this page from the GA-pages header.
