[edit]It was not vandalism it is just making the article pop off the page and if the reader does not know what it is I put "the monkey" "🙉 " to make Sure people know what it is. Thank you Pop off!123456789 (talk) 18:22, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Using emojis is not standard practice on Wikipedia. Additionally, the section you are editing already includes a wikilink to Curious George, allowing readers to navigate to that page for more information if needed. --SimmeD (talk) 18:26, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- I don't see why people cant use emojis, emojis are a part of the new generation. Thank you Pop off!123456789 (talk) 18:28, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Emojis are a big part of how many people communicate today, but Wikipedia has guidelines to keep its articles consistent and professional. The goal is to provide clear, encyclopedic information that's easy for everyone to access and understand. Since emojis don't really fit the formal and neutral tone Wikipedia aims for, they're generally not used. --SimmeD (talk) 18:31, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- ok now I know that thank you SimmeD Pop off!123456789 (talk) 18:49, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:35, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
Venezuela - thanks
[edit]Thank you for your action maintaining the standards concerning the president of Venezuela. I thanked you on the talk history, but unfortunately I accidentally also thanked the editor who made the original post, and I don't think I can undo that. A WP page featuring the "acting president" of Venezuela is making the evening talk shows today. We can't have that. Not partisan, just policy and integrity of the encyclopedia. Thank you! - As long as something is not properly sourced, it does not belong on Wikipedia :-) -- SimmeD (talk) 12:59, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
