ਤਮੰਨਾ ਭਾਟੀਆ[note 1] ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 21 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1989 ਨੂੰ ਬੰਬਈ (ਹੁਣ ਮੁੰਬਈ) ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।[2][3] ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਸੰਤੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਰਜਨੀ ਭਾਟੀਆ ਹਨ।[4][5] ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਰਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆਨੰਦ ਭਾਟੀਆ ਹੈ।[6] ਉਹ ਸਿੰਧੀ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਮੂਲ ਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੇ ਮਾਨੇਕਜੀ ਕੂਪਰ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਟਰੱਸਟ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹੀ।[7] 13 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਭਿਨੇਤਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਣੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਟੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ।[8]
