This template produces wikicode, which is not transcluded or substituted any further. This is equivalent to replacing the {{|}}{{((}}, {{!}} and {{))}} respectively, which may be tedious. It is meant to replace the <nowiki> tag, which cannot be used as an input to templates like {{Automarkup}}.
