요하난 프리드만(Yohanan Friedmann, 1936년 - )은 이스라엘 출신의 이슬람 학자이다.

이슬람학 주전공으로 예루살렘 히브리대학교의 교수이며 1999년부터 이스라엘 인문과학회 회원이다.[1]

2002년부터 프리드만은 프린스턴 대학교의 고등연구서 회원으로 지냈으며[2]2003년 인문학의 권위적인 상인 란다우 상을 수상했다.[3] 1993년부터 아랍과 이슬람에 관련한 예루살렘학의 편집자이며 여러 번 뉴욕대학교와 펜실대학교의 겸임교수로 재직했다.

이슬람의 종교 율법에 대해 많이 연구하며 인도 대륙에 관련해서 많은 연구를 발표하고 있다. 이슬람의 관용과 무자비함에 대해 전반적으로 연구하고자 하며 이에 대한 통찰력을 무슬림 전통에서 찾으려는 노력을 보이고 있다.[4]
