Break Machine è stato un gruppo musicale statunitense di New York noto per il brano Street dance del 1983.
Storia
[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Il gruppo fu creato da Keith Rodgers con la collaborazione di Jacques Morali e Henri Belolo, il duo francese che scoprì e lanciò i Village People. Rodgers si associò anche col musicista Fred Zarr e col trio new-yorkese specialista di break dance, Lindsay Blake, Lindell Blake e Cortez Jordan: il risultato fu il brano Street Dance che riscosse un successo fenomenale. Nel 1984 il gruppo produce l'omonimo album, che resterà l'unico della loro attività.
