| Submission declined by GreenRedFlag (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of web content). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

| Submission declined on 16 October 2025 by SpragueThomson (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Cortico is a Canadian health-technology company that develops patient-engagement and workflow-automation software for medical practices. The company’s software integrates with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and is used by clinics to manage appointment booking, secure messaging, intake forms, automated reminders, and payment processing.[1]
History
[edit]Cortico was founded in 2015 following a pilot project at Kensington Medical Clinic in Burnaby, British Columbia. The pilot, led by physician Greg Baldwin and software developer Clark Van Oyen, introduced online appointment booking and automated workflows aimed at reducing administrative workload in the clinic. The system was later incorporated as Cortico Health Technologies Inc. and made available to other medical practices.[2]
In 2024, Cortico partnered with Intrahealth Systems to integrate its platform with the Profile EMR, expanding its interoperability across multiple electronic record systems.[3]
Products and features
[edit]Cortico’s software is described as a patient-engagement and automation platform. It offers online scheduling, secure two-way messaging, digital intake forms, and automated reminders for appointments.[4] The platform also includes modules for payment processing and AI-supported document management, developed in partnership with Waive the Wait.
Cortico integrates with Canadian EMRs such as OSCAR, Accuro, Juno, and Intrahealth Profile.[5]
Operations
[edit]As of 2025, the company reports that its software is used in over 400 clinics across Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.[6] Cortico Health Technologies is based in Richmond, British Columbia, and has been recognized by New Ventures BC as one of the province’s emerging technology firms.[7]
