Felix Fomengia is a Cameroonian technology entrepreneur and cybersecurity professional. He is the founder and lead developer of the Cameroon GCE Guide mobile application, which provides offline access to past examination papers and study materials for Cameroon’s General Certificate of Education (GCE) exams.[1][2]

Early life and education

Fomengia studied in Cameroon and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Buea.[3] In 2022, he was awarded a Chevening Scholarship to study at the University of Westminster in London, completing an MSc in Cyber Security and Forensics in 2023.[2]

Career

In 2018, Fomengia developed the Cameroon GCE Guide app to aggregate past examination questions and study resources for the Cameroon GCE Ordinary and Advanced Levels.[1] The application has been used by students across the country.[1]

In 2024, he was selected for the second cohort of the African Union Digital and Innovation Fellowship and was deployed to the Office of the Director General in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.[4]
