FinTech Junction is an annual international conference focusing on financial technology (fintech), digital banking, blockchain, AI in finance, payments, cybersecurity and regulatory technology.[1] The event is organized by Lynx, an Israel-based event organizing company,[2] and is recognized as one of the largest fintech gatherings in the Middle East. It serves as a platform for industry leaders, startups, investors, regulators, and financial institutions to connect, exchange knowledge, and showcase innovations.
History
FinTech Junction was first held in 2017 at the Hilton Tel Aviv.[3] The conference was created to address the rapid growth of fintech innovation in Israel - often referred to as the “Startup Nation” - and to connect local companies with global markets.[4]
In its early years, the event quickly gained traction, attracting leading speakers from companies such as eToro, Payoneer, Mastercard, Visa, JP Morgan and BBVA.[5] Over time, it expanded to cover broader areas including blockchain and cryptocurrency, regulatory compliance, AI-driven finance, and retail payment solutions.
Format and Content
The conference typically features:
Keynote presentations from fintech executives, startup founders, investors and thought leaders.
Panel discussions on industry trends, investment, regulation, and emerging technologies.
Workshops and breakout sessions focusing on specific sectors such as payments, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
Startup showcases and pitch competitions highlighting early-stage fintech ventures.
Networking opportunities, including dedicated meeting zones for B2B connections.
Tracks and themes vary each year, reflecting current market priorities such as open banking, embedded finance, AI in finance and decentralized finance (DeFi).[6]
