Early lives and careers

[edit]Krishnakumar was born to vocalist Sarada Kalyanasundaram and math professor Y. Kalyanasundaram. He learned singing starting at age eight from his mother. Krishnakumar studied at Mannam Memorial School and additionally studied mathematics. He eventually completed a bachelors and masters degree in music.[1] He performed at Soorya Festival as a soloist since 1996.[3]
Binni Krishnakumar
[edit]Binni comes from a musical background; her three sisters are musicians and her brother is a violinist.[3] She started learning music from Thiruvizha Surendran when she was seven and later from Thamarakkad Govindan Namboodiri.[1] She won the Kalathilakam at the Kerala State School Youth festival in 1989.[1]
They performed at the Indian consulate in Dubai in 2017.[4]
Personal lives
[edit]The couple got married in 1999.[1] They have two children including Sivaangi, a television personality and actress.[5][3]
