Shabbir Indorewala is an Indian otorhinolaryngologist and the Chief Surgeon at Indorewala ENT Hospital in Nashik, Maharashtra. He is recognised for developing stitch-less ear surgery techniques and for innovations in tympanoplasty, including the endomeatal approach and the concept of dimensional stability in fascia grafts.[1] Indorewala performed Maharashtra’s first bone anchored hearing aid (BAHA) surgery[2][3] and is credited with one of the highest numbers of stitch-less ear surgeries in India, acknowledged by the Limca Book of Records.[1] His academic work includes peer-reviewed research on tympanoplasty outcomes and graft behaviour in middle ear surgery.[4]

- Developed and popularised the technique of Endomeatal Tympanoplasty.[1]
- Introduced the concept of dimensional stability in free fascia grafts.[4]
- Advanced the practice of anterior tympanotomy.

[edit]Indorewala holds MBBS, MS (ENT), and DORL degrees. He is an accredited teacher with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Mumbai and is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences for fellowship training in otology.

His international exposure includes training at HNO Klinikum Tübingen (1984), observer experience at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard University (1989), and advanced ear surgery workshops in Germany (2012) and Australia (2013).
