Draft:Shamim Shaikh
Submission declined on 13 August 2025 by Sksatsuma (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Comment: I am highly skeptical on the reliability of these sources.[1] through to [3] are identical in content, suggesting a press release which would not be independent[4] through to [6] are from news websites which appear to operate as PR platforms from user submissions, again this would not be considered independent[7] is a primary source and cannot be used to demonstrate notability[8] onwards might be okay, but are all passing mentions relating to a minor award, and on their own cannot demonstrate notabilityI would highly suggest reading WP:RS for a guide to reliably sourcing articles sksatsuma 11:08, 13 August 2025 (UTC)
