[edit]

On June 12, 2025, Ramesh, a 40-year-old passenger, miraculously survived a plane crash. Seated in seat 11A next to an emergency exit, he reported that his section of the aircraft detached and landed on the ground floor of a hostel. He managed to escape through an opening created when the emergency exit broke open. Video footage captured him walking away from the wreckage unaided before being escorted to an ambulance. Doctors noted Ramesh was disoriented and had minor injuries, including burns to his left hand. He was discharged from the hospital after five days. Tragically, his brother, who was seated in a different row, did not survive the crash.

Aftermath

[edit]

A month after the incident, by July 13, Ramesh was undergoing psychiatric treatment for severe mental trauma, as confirmed by his brother, Sunny. Despite being considered fortunate to have survived, Vishwas continued to grapple with intense grief and survivor's guilt. Sunny reported that Vishwas remained deeply distressed, experiencing disrupted sleep and withdrawing from communication, even with family members attempting to contact him from overseas. Vishwas had recently begun psychiatric treatment and had no immediate plans to return to London. A few days later, on July 20, his cousin Krunal Keshave further elaborated on Vishwas's condition, stating that he was experiencing nightmares about the flight and the fatalities he witnessed. While Vishwas was attempting to resume a normal life, he largely avoided going out and did not discuss the crash.
