Joseph Chrest (lahir 26 Mei 1963) adalah seorang akademisi dan aktor asal Amerika Serikat. Dia telah berperan dalam berbagai film dan acara televisi termasuk 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Oldboy, The Butler, dan sebagai Ted Wheeler di Stranger Things.[1][2]
Kehidupan awal
[sunting | sunting sumber]Chrest lahir dan besar di St. Albans, Virginia Barat, di mana dia bersekolah di Sekolah Menengah St. Albans.[3][4] Ia memperoleh gelar sarjana dari Universitas Marshall.[5][4] Pada akhir 1980-an, ia memperoleh gelar MFA di bidang akting dari Universitas Negeri Louisiana di Baton Rouge, Louisiana.[4][6]
Karier
[sunting | sunting sumber]Chrest juga seorang profesor tambahan di Sekolah Teater di Sekolah Tinggi Musik & Seni Drama Universitas Negeri Louisiana.[7] Dia mengajar kelas akting film.[2] Sejak tahun 1992, ia menjadi anggota pendiri Swine Palace, LSU.[1][8]
