Krishna film series is a animated series[1] made by Green Gold Animation which was aired on Cartoon network India [2] Krishna Birth[3], Krishna makhan chor[4], Krishna in vrindavan, Krishna Kansa vadh[5][6]
As per TAM media research Krishna (film series) topped the charts across all transmissions on kid's channels and beat Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with the rating of 2.52 in 2007[7]
Plot
[edit]- 1. Krishna: The Birth
Introduces the miraculous birth of Krishna to Devaki and Vasudeva in Mathura, under the threat of his uncle Kansa, who fears a prophecy predicting his downfall. Krishna is secretly taken to Gokul to be raised by Yashoda and Nanda for his safety .
- 2. Krishna: Makhan Chor
Follows Krishna’s playful childhood in Vrindavan, particularly his mischievous adventures—like stealing butter (makhan) from the gopis. This segment also introduces Kansa sending demons to trouble Gokul and little Krishna's brave pranks against them .
- 3. Krishna in Vrindavan
Explores his growth in Vrindavan, his relationships with friends and characters like Balrama and Radha, and more adventures that build his legend and divine persona .
- 4. Krishna: Kansa Vadh
Depicts the climactic conflict where Krishna confronts and defeats his evil uncle Kansa, freeing Mathura from tyranny and fulfilling the prophecy.
