Extra </div> bug
[edit]@حبيشان
There seems to be a bug producing an extra </div> in the output when using pipes to split the text instead of \\. (This causes lint errors, which is how I came across this.) The first version below has the problem, the second doesn't (full examples here and here). I don't know Arabic and its poetry terminology, which complicates following the logic and fixing this myself, since there's no documentation aside from the code itself. Maybe I'll try later anyway, but it's probably a lot easier for you or another Arabic-speaker to do.

- @Gamapamani, there is no reason to use this template. Use Template:Verse translation or any of the others that already exist. Gonnym (talk) 17:43, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Gonnym I'm not using it. When fixing those lint errors, I didn't want to switch to another translation template, since I don't know the language or the topic area and didn't feel I could properly judge if this template did or did not have any extra value where it was being used. (And I didn't want to accidentally mess up the RTL text, which I'm not used to working with.) Gamapamani (talk) 18:26, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
