Discontinuity set
[edit]I removed the material because
- the definition in the source has local scope
 - the term "sparse collection" is nonstandard
 - the observation applies to arbitrary collections of mutually exclusive events

boundary set
[edit]I am guessing in this article denotes the boundary set, but I do not know for sure. --Drizzd (talk) 07:16, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
- Yes it is. linas (talk) 16:04, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

Counterexample needed
[edit]Article needs counter-example: a Borel set that is not a continuity set... In particular, the article on convergence of measures states that a sequence of measures P_n converges weakly when
- lim P_n(A) = P(A) for all continuity sets A of measure P.

while, removing the word 'continuity' converts the above defintion into strong convergence. linas (talk) 16:15, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
