The M98 is not an updated M/75. It replaced the M85 uniform, and is handed out alongside the M75 or the newer M/02 field uniforms. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.191.217.247 (talk) 22:45, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the colourway existed before 1998, I served in 1996-97 and we were issued stuff in the same colourway as M98, interspersed with regular M75 stuff. 178.164.24.23 (talk) 09:42, 17 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
