Just wondering...

[edit]

Richard O'Brien (né Smith) and Brian Jones (1942-1969; founder/member of The Rolling Stones, 1962-1969) were both born in Cheltenham less than a month apart. The article discusses O'Brien's immigration to New Zealand at age 10, but I was just wondering if the two knew each other/were schoolmates in childhood. Jones of course is buried in Cheltenham. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maccb (talkcontribs) 06:44, 2 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2024 tour of NZ - King of Bling

[edit]

It would be good to know what Richard is up to with The King of Bling, touring NZ this (Southern) spring. I was surprised to see his grinning mug on a poster along Cuba Street in Wellington. Haryadoon1 (talk) 07:39, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
