CAPS (title fight) consistency

[edit]

For consistency, UFC Fight Night: De Ridder vs. Hernandez should be placed at UFC Fight Night: de Ridder vs. Hernandez, per these previous fights:

Flagship fights:

This is consistent with previous UFC fights:

Hall of Fame Format

[edit]

@Cassiopeia, although it is more compact to put everything on one table, it defies the point of a sortable table by having rows contain up to four distinct, unrelated items. Either this should be four tables or this should not be included at all, due to the existence of the main article. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Tables- this is essentially four unrelated tables strung together. HadesTTW (he/him • talk) 19:45, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

HadesTTW The are all related in the category of "UFC Hall of Frame"(HoF) Each year UFC will give the HoF in different categories, and if you are familiar with UFC and they events and history then I believe you know that. Cassiopeia talk 22:39, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
They aren't related in the way the table is currently set up, though. Each year the UFC gives out awards on a certain day for each of the four categories- if you want to reflect this, then have each row represent one date of HOF induction. Right now, the induction of June 27, 2024 spans five separate rows.
If you want, I'll provide a fixed version of a singular table where each row represents one date of induction. Right now, though, it clearly does not follow the table format as established by Wikipedia where each row represents one data entry and each column represents attributes for said entry. HadesTTW Just like many awards/HoF, as years go by, new award categories added and some old one remove, some years they dont have a suitable fighters to meet the categories, but they are all related as they are all UFC HoF awards. It is much easy to see in one table and "clearly" stated the dates and catogory of HoF. All viewers who are MMA supporters or normal viewers have no issues of understand it instead to look up and down to see info without a clear one table to represent them all. To reinventing the wheel at times is just not necessary. Cassiopeia talk 22:52, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Cassiopeia I reformatted the table so it should be more compact and readable. Let me know if it causes any problems. HadesTTW (he/him • talk) 22:33, 11 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
