Template:CS1 language script

{{CS1 language script}} generates documentation for subcategories of Category:CS1 uses foreign language script. It extracts a language code and language name from the category name and passes them to Template:CS1 language script/core which displays the documentation.

When used on such as Category:CS1 uses Cherokee-language script (chr), the language code is chr, the language name is Cherokee, and the documentation displayed is:

This is a tracking category.

It is used to build and maintain a list or lists of pages—primarily for the sake of the lists themselves and their use in article and category maintenance. It is not part of the encyclopedia's categorization scheme.

More information:

• This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set.
• These categories are used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attention en masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.

This is a tracking category for CS1 citations that use the parameter |script-title= to hold a citation title that uses Cherokee and contains the language prefix chr:. Individual pages in this category should only be added by CS1 templates and Module:Citation/CS1.
