Update
[edit]I have added the parameters lid, pid and rid for lists, peaks and ranges. After everyone is used to using pid instead of id I would like to deprecate id and unnamed parameters in order to make the syntax less complicated for future users. There is currently no documentation of id. –droll [chat] 06:07, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

Template:Cite peakbagger has been listed at Templates for discussion (nomination), but it was protected, so it could not be tagged. Please add:
{{subst:template for discussion|help=off}}
to the top of the page to complete the nomination. Thank you. Wilderness trespasser (talk) 13:51, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- @WIlderness tresspasser: I added the notice to the template, but I believe this will be disruptive, since 5,300 articles use this template and now we're mucking them up with an internal discussion. Please see my response at TfD -- I believe that you're going about this in the wrong way, and should get consensus at WP:RSN first. I've also notified the Mountains WikiProject -- any such TfD or RSN discussion should have a notification there. — hike395 (talk) 14:51, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
