Change "Easterm Slavic" to "Eastern Slavic" (an error that needs to be fixed for "patronymic" to appear instead of "surname"). J3133 (talk) 09:13, 19 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Would it be possible to allow Spanish to use the 3rd parameter for a marital name, as in the template above? My reason for requesting this is that the template above can only be a hatnote, not a footnote. GanzKnusper (talk) 10:01, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Change In this <article>, the <mod1><family_name> is '' <1>''<mod2>. <postscript> and {{hatnote|In this <article>, the <mod1><family_name> is <1><mod2>. <postscript>}} to <article>, the <mod1><family_name> is <1><mod2>. <postscript></nowiki> and {{hatnote|In this <article>, the <mod1><family_name> is <1><mod2>. <postscript>}}. The reason why I am saying this is because some people (including me) think it's a bit weird to have hatnotes with italics in the links. 2600:1700:6180:6290:F857:C7E1:9A7E:A35B (talk) 21:49, 10 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
See in Thai name#Forms of address, I learned in Thai custom, a Thai person should be referred mainly by given name instead of surname. I also watched a match of Thailand football team and saw all players' name on jersey are given name too. E.g Chanathip Songkrasin's name on jersey is "Chanathip", not "Songkrasin". See in his Thai wiki, he is also usually referred as "Chanathip" (ชนาธิป), while "Songkrasin" is (สรงกระสินธ์) always belong after "Chanathip" or his parent's given name. However, this template has not explained it in Thai custom. Can anyone fix it? Like adding "In accordance with Thai custom, this person should be referred to by the given name, Chanathip". Thanks.
