IPA: Language Study
[edit]The paragraph immediately following the above cited heading in the referenced wiki page with reference to Taiwan is misleading at best, outdated, or incorrect, because I lived and taught in Taiwan and I taught English to many Taiwanese; I learned KK --- which is based on IPA, using some specialized symbols and not using diacritical markings --- the phonetic symbol system taught to older students learning English. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.239.178.118 (talk) 16:43, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
