De Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea (UFDG) be social-liberal[1] political party wey dey inside Guinea. You for not confuse am plus de liberal Union of Republican Forces wey gey similar name.
Dem found de party insyd 1991 by number of opposition parties den groups. Insyd October 2002 dem join am by a section of Union for Progress and Renewal wey edey under de leadership of Bâ Mamadou, wey eno be like de majority of demma party as dem wan boycott de 2002 parliamentary election. Mamadou Ba later dem elect am come make de President of UFDG. De party dey affiliate de Republican Front for Democratic Change alliance, wey dem dey intend say ego field a candidate insyd de 2003 presidential election.[2]
Starting insyd 2007, de presidency of de party wey dem hold am by Cellou Dalein Diallo. Diallo come stand for de party insyd de 2010 presidential election, wey edey top de poll insyd de first round before dem narrowly lose to Alpha Conde insyd de second round.
On 25 July 2015, Diallo dem name am as de UFDG ein candidate for de 2015 presidential election for de party congress; dem san re-elect am to lead de party for another five years.[3]
