Hi my name is Roland. I am a retired airline employee with experience and an interest in air cargo. I am now fully independent, but still passionate about improving the transparency of the air cargo industry, and want to set up a new page on the History of Air Cargo and Air Mail in the English language. At first gathering the available information scattered over Wikipedia and then adding my own gathered external information with references.

The history of air cargo and air mail is fascinating but very scattered over the different internet sources (also within Wikipedia), so currently it's hard to get a worldwide integrated overview or timeline. Also not too many books are written on the subject. Please join me in this intiative or contact me here for more information!
