I registered as a Wikipedia editor on August 29, 2016. My username Ion Soggo is not my real name. Rather, it is the name of the main character of a book I read when I was young.

I am planning to contribute to Wikipedia articles within fields I have some expertise. These are:

Neurophysiology of the visual system in mammals,
Axonal regeneration in invertebrates,
Bioinformatics of gene expression.

I hope other editors will find my edits reasonable and useful.
