I have very complex medical conditions; Please be patient with this user. Some days are not easy (4/7/2024)
I do what I can, where I am, with what I have. - (Teddy Roosevelt's quote originally; my motto, as paraphrased)
I have over seven years of experience on on Wikipedia. My major interests may be found to the right. This user page will be updated periodically. When interacting with this user, please try to understand that jumping to conclusions due to an initial misunderstanding will just result in more confusion. I can't help you fix whatever the problem is If I'm chastised about not conceptualizing properly what you believe is a problem.
There are three major things about myself that did not warrant a userbox, but still (I feel) require an explanation.
FIRST (Genetics)
I was born with the inborn error of metabolism PKU. This User started a treatment of Palynziq on July 16, 2019; in April 2020 this medication was increased from 20mg/mL to 40mg/mL per day and my protein intake was increased as well. In August 2020 my blood phenylalanine level dropped to ~2.26mg/dL for the first time; average level took longer. This user has faced various aspects of considerable genetic discrimination. The ideal range for mental stability is 1.36-4.07mg/dL with this condition. The most recent available blood phenylalanine level was collected on 12/29/2025; it was in the acceptable range.
SECOND (Lineage)
Aside from my veteran based ancestry, my genealogy descends from Huguenots , who were driven out of France due to the religious persecution policies of Louis XIV. From there, they immigrated to England, and of course, the New World after that. This was generations ago, and I have no personally negative feelings to the French people as a nation, but I am aware of the family history. I understand that this can generate an Implicit Bias.
THIRD (Axioms)
On January 9, 2018 I proudly became a father for the first time. I have been diagnosed with episodic headaches; their exact nature is currently further under evaluation. The condition is photoreactive, but it is not epilepsy.
