If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop removing or altering references in ways that break or weaken sourcing as you have done on multiple articles by stripping archive links. Your edits have been reverted. Archived URLs are required on Wikipedia to ensure source stability if the live site changes or disappears.

Continuing to remove archived references is disruptive editing and may result in your being blocked from editing. Thank you. ThilioR O B O T🤖 talk 21:24, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm correcting bad links created to my own work and site. Should I just create a htaccess file at my end and redirect such links. The archived web linkes are never the same as the main website. 204.112.199.164 (talk) 23:53, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I can also remove my site from the web archive. And then it needs to be the original website. 204.112.199.164 (talk) 23:54, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In many cases, the web archive is listed first, Archiseek.com is a continuously edited and added to resource, the web archive is often linked to a very old version. 204.112.199.164 (talk) 23:58, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
uk.archiseek.com was never intended to be anything but a test site therefore insisting on the archive rather than then main url at archiseek.com is pretty petty. 204.112.199.164 (talk) 00:53, 3 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So, Wayback Machine has confirmed the deletion of those links you had as archived links. So perhaps the relevant and correct URL that I inserted for the record should be reinstated, as the archived references are now broken as the content no longer exists on WBM.
Or you should remove the reference.
Cheers
