Thank you for improving article quality in July! - Three Ukrainian topics were on the main page today, at least at the beginning, RD and DYK, - see my talk. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:04, 20 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

On Bach's day of death, I decorated my user pages in memory of his music, and my story ends on "peace". --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:07, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Alaney2k. I noticed that your recent edit to An Act for the Substantive Equality of Canada's Official Languages added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. Thank you.  Sumanuil. (talk to me) 23:15, 28 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The image ParlCres.png -was- on Commons. But it turns out that there was a copyright issue. There are no free representations of the crest allowed. It was cleaned up with a bot, but it appears this one article was missed. The idea was to use one image in the infobox for Canadian acts, but the coat of arms was not okay, and neither was the parliament crest. See Parliament of Canada. So I am going to use the pic of Centre Block. Alaney2k (talk) 14:05, 29 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia project electronic literature?

[edit]

Hi, Thank you for working on Reham Hosny's article. Electronic literature does have difficulties meeting traditional citation requirements as it is a relatively new field. We could really use your help with our task list! We welcome your Wikipedia knowledge--see WP:ELIT and join in on our Third Thursday editations. Thank you!! Check out my talk for an Independence day, or: the pic of Oksana Lyniv was taken on 24 August. There's listening and reading in today's story, and I like both. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:57, 24 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
