A tag has been placed on User:AndeHuang/沙盒, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Lynch44 01:31, 30 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved the page to draft space at Draft:Winmate Inc. for you (and other editors) to work on and then submit it for review when it is ready to move to mainspace. I've removed the speedy delete tag. — ERcheck (talk) 03:15, 30 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Draftified

[edit]

Your subpage User:AndeHuang/沙盒    has NOT been deleted. It has been moved to Draft:Winmate Inc.. — ERcheck (talk) 03:23, 30 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @ERcheck,
Thanks for the update and for moving the page to Draft:Winmate Inc. I’ve now submitted the draft using the Articles for Creation (AfC) submission wizard for review.
If you have any comments or suggestions for improvement, I’d greatly appreciate your feedback.
Thank you! AndeHuang (talk) 06:12, 30 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@AndeHuang - I see that you have twice submitted the draft for review. Please review the feedback and address all of the issues that the reviewers have outlined in their comments, including the use of a large language model such as ChatGPT. The links in the Welcome! message above will provide you with a lot of good information about creating an article for Wikipedia. — ERcheck (talk) 04:28, 5 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @ERcheck,
I just revised my draft and would like to know if it meets Wikipedia’s requirements. Could you please review it and share any feedback to help improve it?
Thank you! AndeHuang (talk) 03:53, 13 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@AndeHuang - For full review, do a submit. However, on a cursory look at the page, there are a number of questions:
  1. The name Winmate vs the Rongcheng Telecom: The connection should be clear in the lead paragraph, not just in the infobox. Do you have an independent citation?
  2. The Products & Solutions section - each name links directly to a Winmate page. This can be seen as promotional and is unnecessary. A single inline link to "about" as a reference should suffice. "Solutions" sounds like promotional speak. What problem(s) are they solving?
  3. The section headings do not follow the Wikipedia manual of style.
  4. Lead has redundancies which can be viewed as promotional.
This is a quick look. Fixing these is a start. I recommend you read it as if you knew nothing about the company. Would you have questions/be confused? It still reads a like a PR/investment brochure; it is not a few words/phrases word, but how it is presented. ("Solutions")

Hi @ERcheck,
I’ve uploaded and revised the new version. Could you take a quick look and share your feedback?
I’d really appreciate it. Thank you! AndeHuang (talk) 06:40, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@AndeHuang - Checking #1 on the list It does not appear to be addressed. This poses an issues as the company is Winmate and some of the citations mention Rongcheng. (You could make mention in an end note using {{efn}} or parenthetically (though there would still need to be a citation). On #3, still not changed.
Please make use of the AFC Help desk (linked in the review on the draft page) for future help. — ERcheck (talk) 13:17, 18 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @ERcheck, may I ask if an article has already been published on Wikipedia in Traditional Chinese, and I am now trying to write it in English, would that affect the existing Chinese page? Since the domain is zh.wikipedia.org rather than en.wikipedia.org, I assume they are separate. Also, is it acceptable to cite another Wikipedia page as a reference? AndeHuang (talk) 03:48, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@AndeHuang:
  • The sites are independent in that changes from one do not affect the other site. (They also have their own sets of policies and guidelines.)
  • No, it is not acceptable to cite other Wikipedia page. However, you can wikilink words/phrases as appropriate. If there is something in another Wikipedia article that supports the article you are working on, you can reuse citations as appropriate.

Hello @JesusisGreat7, thank you for reviewing my draft. I was wondering why the recent changes are still not considered suitable for the Wikipedia format. Could you please provide some specific guidance on what needs to be corrected so that I can bring the draft in line with Wikipedia’s requirements? Thank you for your time. Hello AndeHuang. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:AndeHuang. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=AndeHuang|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 06:54, 28 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message. I am editing with a conflict of interest, as I am working on behalf of Winmate Inc. I have made the required disclosure on my user page. Should I now continue by rewriting the draft through the Articles for Creation process?
Thank you for your guidance! AndeHuang (talk) 01:51, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you may keep working on the draft.
Where you are having difficulty is with your process; you are telling us what you want the world to know about your company, that is the wrong approach. Wikipedia is not a place for a company to tell about itself, its offerings, and what it sees as its own history(like a history of its activities). Instead, you must summarize what independent reliable sources with signficant coverage have chosen on their own to say about your company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. None of the following establishes notability:
  1. Annoucments of routine business activities(like obtaining a certification or being listed on a stock exchange or acquiring competitors)
  2. Awards that themselves do not have articles about them(like Nobel Peace Prize or Academy Award)
  3. Expanding on that, awards obtained by personnel(like the CEO getting an award); that might merit the person an article, but not the company(again, if the award itself is notable and has an article)
  4. descriptions of product offerings(which, if sufficiently reviewed by professional critics, might merit the product an article)
You need sources that go into detail as to what they see as important/significant/influential about the company, not what it sees as important about itself(as every company thinks that what it does is important). As it is now you don't have anything that establishes the notability of the company. 331dot (talk) 07:39, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
