Accidental (presumably) user talk page move
[edit]You moved User:Salmamohamed26 to Draft:Mister Window, which was fine. However, you also moved the corresponding talk page User talk:Salmamohamed26 to Draft talk:Mister Window, which was not fine. I've moved it back, but always make sure when making this kind of move to uncheck the "Move associated talk page" box. It's an easy mistake to make, and I have done the same myself, more than once. It would be better if the software left that box unchecked by default if the page being moved is a user page, but unfortunately it doesn't. JBW (talk) 23:32, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
Page Trinidadian French Creol
[edit]I gave links and sources for all the blogs/YouTube channels except the channel GreenzCulture, however I know for a fact that what GreenzCulture says is true, not only has he recorded many older speakers speaking the language (primary sources), but a lot of the words I already know from my family that spoke it long ago. I understand that anything on YouTube could be fake but I am of the opinion that GreenzCulture is 100% factual on the language of Grenadian/Trinidadian Creole French. - It's not so much the person who wrote the source as the exact way the draft cites it. Currently, the citation I'm seeing is just a link to the creators' YouTube channels, which isn't enough for readers to verify the information in the article. The sources might be okay if you cited specific videos. And of course, it would be even better if you could cite the authors' books instead/in addition. Anerdw (talk) 13:08, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
- Ah, now I understand, I will link the specific videos as well. Thank you for the clarification. KeyolTranslater (talk) 13:51, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

Cite Unseen September 2025 updates
[edit]Hello! Thank you for using Cite Unseen. We are excited to share details about a big update we just deployed. With grant support from Wikimedia CH, we've added several new features, including a citation filtering dashboard, settings dialog, support for localization, and the ability to easily suggest domain categorizations. Cite Unseen now also lives on Meta Wiki, as part of our effort to serve all Wikimedia projects. Our source lists are now also on Meta-Wiki, where they can be collaboratively edited by the community.
Please see our newsletter on Meta-Wiki for full details. If you have feature ideas, notice any issues with our new updates, or have any questions, please get in touch via our project talk page. Thank you!

Recent reject on User:DaleDarley/sandbox
[edit]Hi—when you come across a blank draft, please remember to check if the "The page contains an HTML comment longer than 30 characters" message appears in the review box and, if so, if clicking "view comment" on it reveals the draft that was meant to be submitted. You can then remove the comment from the draft and review from there. Also note that the rejection there wasn't necessary—if the draft was truly blank, you can decline it with the "blank" decline reason. Actually blank draft submissions are accidents, and are not a reason to try to prevent future draft submissions. Denying something as "contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia" is for when stuff is, well, contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia—usually this is stuff that is CSDable or borderline CSDable.
I won't do so myself, but I would appreciate it if you removed the reject notice you gave the user from their talk page, as it will only serve to confuse them. Perryprog (talk) 15:52, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- I've removed the notice. Thanks! Anerdw (talk) 16:00, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
