Hi, thank you for your contributions. I note your recent edits concerning the hatnote for Wachovia Center.

In this case, "Wachovia Center" can refer to either 100 North Main Street or Xfinity Mobile Arena, with the latter being the primary topic. The hatnote is for the benefit of those being redirected. See WP:HATNOTE. 162 etc. (talk) 06:12, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

100 North Main Street is also known as Wells Fargo Center, not Wachovia Center. Also, I thought that all pages that redirect to another page had to be listed in the hatnote. As such, that's why I also added the other three previous arena names. Assadzadeh (talk) 06:19, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No, the hatnote resolves ambiguity. In this case:
100 North Main Street was previously known as Wells Fargo Center. It was also previously known as Wachovia Center.
Wells Fargo Center is not a redirect.
Wachovia Center, however, is a primary redirect. The hatnote is therefore necessary
CoreStates Center, First Union Center, and Wells Fargo Center (Philadelphia) are redirects, but they are not ambiguous. No hatnote required.
Again, this is all covered at WP:HATNOTE. Thank you for your continued contributions to the encyclopedia. 162 etc. (talk) 06:32, 15 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
