Next United Kingdom general election
[edit]In the Next United Kingdom general election, Andrew Tate made it clear that his BRUV Party will be at the Next general election, and if it will be, why remove BRUV from the party list? Richie1509 (talk) 18:08, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Richie1509 We only include parties with representation in parliament in the infobox, so they would have to win a by-election or have an existing MP defect. This is to avoid WP:CRYSTAL issues. Hope this helps! CR (how's my driving? call 0865 88318) 19:48, 4 March 2025 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. Thanks for letting ke know! Richie1509 (talk) 02:29, 5 March 2025 (UTC)
Vandalism at Romani ite domum: 3RR
[edit]I've been reverting the IP editor's deletions/insertions as vandalism, and documenting them on the article's talk page. I also requested page protection since the IP editor seemed to be escalating the situation through edit summaries. Since you posted a 3RR warning on the IP's talk page, I was wondering if I should stop reverting as well, and let other editors handle it. I've always tried to be very conscientious about not violating the 3RR myself, though I'm not sure whether it applies to me in this instance. Since the warning mentioned an "edit war", I thought I should check with you before any more reversions (should they become necessary). P Aculeius (talk) 14:23, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- @P Aculeius I'm not 100% on how clearly this falls on either side of the reverting obvious vandalism line - I would avoid reverting as I don't think this falls under obvious vandalism, personally, but at the end of the day it's your call. CR (how's my driving? call 0865 88318) 14:26, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your quick reply. The IP editor actually followed through on his/her threat to report me for 3RR, and I have replied there. For now, I'll step back from reverting at RID and let other editors handle it. P Aculeius (talk) 14:35, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- No problem. I'll chime in on your behalf over there. CR (how's my driving? call 0865 88318) 14:36, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- @P Aculeius Good lord is that a bad report if I've ever seen one. They should've given you a proper AN3 notice as well. CR (how's my driving? call 0865 88318) 14:38, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- Well, ANI and a lot of technical procedures are pretty confusing if you aren't used to them. I try to avoid getting involved there at all! I found the report quickly because the IP did at least notify me. I still think the report is frivolous, but don't really care that the notice wasn't very good. P Aculeius (talk) 14:41, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Hopefully this is at least close to the end of the bother over this (though i suspect it won't be!) CR (how's my driving? call 0865 88318) 14:51, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
- Looks like it was, at least for now! Thanks for the help, and the advice. P Aculeius (talk) 20:38, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
