Speedy deletion nomination of File:Reese McGuire 2025.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Reese McGuire 2025.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation of https://apnews.com/article/cubs-mcguire-reds-1e59836b115c962268b7eb5c6be23428 and has no credible claim of fair use or permission. Accessibility user page

Hello! Just wanted to quickly flag that your user page has links that aren't very accessible. It generally bad practice to hide links behind the words 'here', or 'this link'. Screen readers get confused by it, but it's also difficult for other readers who cannot quickly scan for the link they're searching for. Drumeo

This showed up in a queue for userspaces in AfC. Likely because it used to be at Drat:Drumeo. I did not move it back to that target as it looks like you moved it to your userspace? Not sure if that was intended or not. If the userpage is deleted U1 (which may not apply), the draft would be deleted as well which would overwrite the submission created by another user. Good catch - don't delete the article at Drumeo. I was trying to get User:Gommeh/Drumeo draft deleted while I was prepping Drumeo for publication and messed up. Must have put the wrong page there by accident. Gommeh 🎮 21:59, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. Yeah, I was not sure U1 would work since an IP created it. I changed the redirect target for Draft:Drumeo to Drumeo and left a message on the talk page of the userspace page. Helen Kales

Hello - you recently declined the article at Draft:Helen Kales because it did not meet WP:GNG. For Kales, the appropriate criteria to meet is WP:PROF and Kales meets criteria #5 as a named professor. While the article is a stub, the details needed to verify her position as a named professor are included in the article. In addition, her work has been cited in the New York Times, and those details are cited in the article as well. Can you please take a second look at this article? One final comment - I am not Helen Kales, nor do I have a conflict of interest with this article. You might want to discuss that on the article's talk page or with an editor who is more familiar with the hospital then - I made the decision based on what I saw. If they are not the same place, then you may want to think about discussing the difference, as it appears another editor was confused by it. But otherwise it looks good.
