Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Siddam Manohar
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Siddam Manohar, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Qcne (talk) 16:30, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit] Hello, Thesazh. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 17:00, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
You claim to have taken this image of Mr. Reddy but it appears that you copied it out of a book; this could be a copyright violation. Please clarify. 331dot (talk) 17:01, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
- You also claim to have taken this image. 331dot (talk) 17:02, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, @331dot Regarding the Image of Mr. Reddy, I'm the one who taken this image Thesazh (talk) 09:23, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- I believe that you used your camera to take the picture of the book his picture is in, but I don't believe that you took the image in the book. 331dot (talk) 12:31, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- And what about the other image? 331dot (talk) 12:33, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- Note that taking an image of a picture in a book would be no different than sitting in a movie theater recording a film being shown, and then selling copies claiming it is your film. If you took a picture of a picture, copyright still remains with the original photographer. 331dot (talk) 10:22, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- @331dot, I appreciate your guidance. Regarding the image of Mr. Reddy, it was initially captured by an unknown person and was sourced from a photo album. I uploaded it to this biography. Thesazh (talk) 10:56, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, you shouldn't do that. The copyright belongs to the original photographer whether you can identify them or not, unless the photo is old enough to be in the public domain(doubtful as he does not seem old enough) 331dot (talk) 11:00, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- @331dot thanks for your guidance on this, It seems I misunderstood the Wikipedia terms regarding photo uploads, particularly in cases where the original photographer is not identifiable. I regret any oversight on my part, and I'm fully committed to rectifying this mistake. I will promptly remove the photo in question to ensure compliance with Wikipedia's copyright policies, If I have an option to remove the pic I'll remove it right away or else, please kindly remove for your end. Thesazh (talk) 11:07, 26 December 2023 (UTC)

[edit]
Hello Thesazh. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Thesazh. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Thesazh|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 17:48, 23 December 2023 (UTC)

- Let me clarify this for you, I want to clarify that I am assisting Chidipothu Manohar in compiling factual and neutral information for a potential Wikipedia page about his professional achievements. However, I am not receiving any form of compensation, financial or otherwise, for these edits. My aim is to ensure accuracy and adherence to Wikipedia guidelines regarding notable subjects. Thesazh (talk) 09:26, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- So you are doing this for free out of the goodness of your heart? You just approached him at random? How do you know him? 331dot (talk) 12:30, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- @331dot
- I work in the Telugu film industry as an English subtitle provider for Telugu films. In the course of my work, I had the opportunity to meet Chidipothu Manohar, and we discussed the idea of creating a Wikipedia page for him to highlight his contributions to the industry.
- Here is a link to my profile in the film industry for your reference [Imdb: Sashi Kotipalli - iMDb and one of my works with same tagline I mentioned in subtitle file as Sazh in Youtube trailer: Changure Bangaru Raja - Official Trailer - Saregama Telugu]. Additionally, I'll provide Mr. Manohar's relevant details to support the authenticity of our connection. Thesazh (talk) 12:42, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- You have a conflict of interest and you must formally disclose it, go to WP:COI for instructions. 331dot (talk) 12:45, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- @331dot Thank you for the guidance regarding the conflict of interest policies on Wikipedia. I understand the importance of transparency and adherence to these guidelines. To ensure compliance, I'll refrain from editing pages where I have a conflict of interest and strictly adhere to the guidelines moving forward.
- Regarding the new page for Manohar, I'd like to confirm that I'll proceed with the creation in compliance with Wikipedia's policies. I will incorporate reliable, neutral sources and maintain a neutral point of view in line with the community standards. I aim to contribute valuable content while strictly adhering to the guidelines on conflict of interest. If there are specific formats or guidelines I should follow for the new page creation, I'm open to suggestions and guidance. These are the points I understood from WP:COI, kindly help me if I'm wrong

[edit]Hello Thesazh,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Duvvuru Varshitha for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

Deletion discussion about Laggam (film)
[edit]Hello Thesazh, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Laggam (film), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Laggam (film).

The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

- @Bastun
- Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns regarding the Laggam (film) article.
- I believe Laggam is notable due to its upcoming theatrical release, significant regional media coverage, and interest from the Telugu film audience. It has been covered by news outlets and has generated discussions on social media platforms, contributing to its cultural relevance.
- Infact, I have added references to articles and interviews from reputable media outlets that discuss the film's release, its cast, and production. These sources should help establish the film's notability as per Wikipedia's guidelines.
- @Bastun I am open to any further suggestions for improving the article and ensuring that it meets Wikipedia's standards for notability and verifiability. Thesazh (talk) 15:23, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Thesazh. WP:NFF states that unreleased films should not have articles. If you'd prefer, I can move the article to draft space until it's officially released, at which point it can be moved back to article space? You can continue to work on it while it's in draft space. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 15:32, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Bastun
- Thank you for your suggestion and for clarifying the policy. I understand the WP:NFF guidelines regarding unreleased films. Moving the article to the draft space sounds like a reasonable solution. I would appreciate it if you could proceed with that.
- This would give me the opportunity to continue improving the article with more details and sources as they become available, and then I can move it back to the article space once the film is officially released.
- Thanks again, Cheers! Thesazh (talk) 15:47, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- That's done now, and best of luck with the article. I hope you enjoy the film when it's released! BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 15:56, 11 October 2024 (UTC)

- Thank you for reviewing the article on Mahendra Nath Kondla and for your guidance. I understand the importance of ensuring the subject meets the notability criteria and that the article requires additional reliable sources.
- Could you please clarify if the notability needs to be established more for the person (Mahendra Nath Kondla) or for his work (such as the films Sabari and Viraaji)? I would be happy to add the required sources

A tag has been placed on File:Mahendra Nath Kondla at Viraaji Interview.webp requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation and has no credible claim of fair use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Whpq (talk) 00:34, 17 March 2025 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit] Hello Thesazh! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
- Limited quotation: You may only copy or translate a small portion of a source. Any direct quotations must be enclosed in double quotation marks (") and properly cited using an inline citation. More information is available on the non-free content page. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners.
- Paraphrasing: Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information in your own words. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources as appropriate.
- Image use guidelines: In most scenarios, only freely licensed or public domain images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- Copyrighted material donation: If you hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Copying and translation within Wikipedia: Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. For translation, see Help:Translation § Licensing.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 00:53, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Siddharth G.jpg
[edit]
Thanks for uploading File:Siddharth G.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The file File:Siddharth Gollapudi.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Uploaded for Draft:Siddharth Gollapudi. No other use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Min☠︎rax«¦talk¦» 03:39, 28 April 2025 (UTC)

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For an unblock to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

- @Vanamonde93 @Jeraxmoira
- I understand that my editing activity raised concerns regarding promotional content and undisclosed paid advocacy. However, I want to clarify that I have not received any financial compensation or external incentives for any of the articles I worked on till date, including Guard (2025 film) or Vadlamani Srinivas. My edits stemmed purely from personal interest and support for regional cinema and emerging public figures. I acknowledge that even without payment, some of my edits may have appeared to cross promotional boundaries, and I deeply regret not being more cautious or transparent in those instances. I also recognize the importance of conflict of interest (COI) guidelines and paid editing disclosure, and I take full responsibility for any procedural lapses on my part. Please let me know if there's anything more I can do to assist in resolving this matter transparently. Thesazh (talk) 18:10, 23 June 2025 (UTC)

Request reason:
While I understand my actions may have appeared promotional, I assure you they were not financially motivated. I now recognize that even the appearance of a conflict of interest, especially when editing articles related to topics I’m familiar with, requires disclosure and careful compliance with Wikipedia’s guidelines. Moving forward, I will: - Disclose any potential COI or affiliations in accordance with Wikipedia’s paid editing policies. - Avoid editing topics where impartiality could be questioned, and instead focus on general maintenance or verifiably neutral topics. - Engage with the community through talk pages when unsure, and not make major content decisions unilaterally.
I confirm that I have read and understand the [Terms of Use](https://foundation.wikimedia.org/wiki/Terms_of_Use/en) and Wikipedia's [Paid Contribution Disclosure](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Paid-contribution_disclosure) policy.

- Uninvolved editor, but i think they deserve a chance Tankishguy :)(: (talk) 06:02, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- Quoting your words from the SPI,
I myself moved Guard (2025 film) into draft space as I have worked for that film as Digital PR, and as well, Subtitler
. It's a joke if they didn't pay you when you worked as their Digital PR. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 06:42, 24 June 2025 (UTC)- I’m writing to firmly clarify the confusion surrounding my involvement with Guard (2025 film) and other Wikipedia articles I’ve worked on.
- I do know that we are not supposed to expose the identity, but I dont want to risk the handle I've been working, to become a good wikipedia contributor!
- Yes, I am Sashi, a professional English Subtitle provider for Telugu feature films. My contributions on Wikipedia stem solely from a personal interest in improving my writing and contributing accurate, encyclopaedic content, especially for films I’ve worked on as a subtitler only.
- Let me state unequivocally:
- I have not been paid for any Wikipedia article creation or edits. My role as a Digital PR, in this context, was a self-initiated outreach where I informed a film team about the absence of a Wikipedia article. That does not imply any compensation or promotional intent. I only receive payment for subtitling work! Never for article writing or editing.
- Regarding Guard (2025 film):
- I recently interacted with a cast member regarding its OTT release. When I noticed the film lacked a Wikipedia article, I offered, on my own accord, to write one. The team politely declined, stating they had already hired someone. I left it there. Later, I saw an article for the film created by another user @CNMall41, and based on its sourcing, I moved it to mainspace in good faith, not out of COI or coordinated effort.
- I also want to clarify that edits such as the one on music director Devi Sri Prasad's page were done purely as a fan and Wikipedia contributor. Again, there was no financial or promotional link.
- I’ve now updated my user page with a clear COI disclosure (even if there’s no paid editing involved) to avoid future confusion.
- Please understand, my intent has always been to contribute respectfully and responsibly. If any edits or articles require adjustments to meet Wikipedia standards, I’m open to feedback and correction. @Jeraxmoira Thesazh (talk) 09:12, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

- You are just blatantly lying at this point.
I recently interacted with a cast member regarding its OTT release. When I noticed the film lacked a Wikipedia article, I offered, on my own accord, to write one.
I'm not sure why you offered to write an article for them in the first place. Wikipedia articles shouldn't concern them and you don't need their permission to create one unless you're trying to build a relationship with them. - Users who are compensated for any publicity efforts related to the subject of their Wikipedia contributions are deemed to be paid editors, regardless of whether they were compensated specifically to edit Wikipedia. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 13:58, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Jeraxmoira
- At the time I had a conversation with the concerned film team, the topic of Wikipedia came up, and I intentionally asked them whether a page for their film existed or if they had hired anyone previously to create one. This was not for approval or to seek compensation, but because I’ve been actively working towards fulfilling the eligibility to request New Page Reviewer rights, which requires the creation of at least 25 valid articles. To avoid unintentionally duplicating someone else's efforts! Or stepping over any prior contributor’s work! I’ve been reaching out to film teams I’ve previously worked with only to ask whether anyone had already been engaged to create their Wikipedia article.
- My sole purpose here is twofold: 1) to ensure I’m not duplicating content, and 2) to build writing discipline by engaging with topics I already have context on, through my previous subtitling work.
- For example, in the case of the Telugu film Shashtipoorthi, I myself recently applied a speedy deletion tag after discovering that someone had created a redundant page even though one already existed in mainspace. I did this to prevent unnecessary duplication, not for self-promotion or paid editing.
- To be clear: I do not accept or expect any payment for Wikipedia contributions, and I take care to ask only to ensure transparency and avoid overlap, not to build client relationships. All my actions have been done with the intent to follow community norms and improve my editorial experience on Wikipedia. Thesazh (talk) 14:15, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thesazh, you have clearly not read the paid editing policy with sufficient care. It does not matter that you were not paid specifically to edit. If you are paid for PR of any sort, you are considered a paid editor. And it is not in the least credible that the considerable volume of promotional editing you have engaged in was entirely voluntary. You have a long history of writing about marginally notable subjects; uploading images that clearly were taken for promotional purposes, likely not by you but by the subject; writing in a highly promotional tone; repeatedly moving your creations to mainspace from draftspace without addressing the reasons for draftification; and ignoring or partially complying with warnings related to all of the above. If your livelihood is digital PR, you need to play by the rules on Wikipedia, and that means full and complete disclosure of payment on every page, not the excuses you are offering. If you want to contribute to Wikipedia from a personal interest you still need to comply with policies about neutrality and conflict of interest, and you need to take people seriously when they tell you how to do so. You have had ample warning about all of this, so at this point demonstrating that you are sincere will probably mean taking a break from Wikipedia for a little while. Vanamonde93 (talk) 16:15, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Jeraxmoira @CNMall41
- I want to sincerely clarify something that has really affected me: I have never been paid for any Wikipedia article I’ve created or edited. All contributions I made, whether film articles or biographies, were driven by genuine personal interest, especially in Telugu cinema and film subtitling, where I have professional experience. I understand now that even being involved with a film (like subtitling) can be seen as a potential conflict of interest, even without payment for editing, or writing any articles. This wasn’t fully clear to me before, and I regret not disclosing it properly. I never intended to misuse Wikipedia or violate any policy. If my edits seemed promotional or overly supportive of certain films, I’m open to correcting them and learning how to improve. I kindly request a fair chance to regain the community's trust, not as a paid editor, but as someone who loves films and wants to grow as a contributor. I’m willing to step back temporarily as mentioned by @Vanamonde93, I request a chance to demonstrate good faith.
- As I don't have option to do any edits on Wikipedia, once I receive the editing chance again, I'll update the following on my User Page for avoid any future errors about COI again
- "I’ve worked as a subtitler for some Telugu films. I am not paid for Wikipedia editing or article creation, and all my edits are made voluntarily based on public sources" Thesazh (talk) 16:27, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- He doesn't work in PR for the articles. He works as an English subtitler For Telegu films. Tankishguy :)(: (talk) 19:51, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Tankishguy This is what, I'm trying to convey! but, don't know where exactly i missed this particular point!
- All articles I did because of my own interest, no pay, no attention, no credits, Nothing! just likewise a digital pr guy who does all these digital blogs and stuff! I wanted to achieve that new pages patrol thing, and that's what my aim is! Thesazh (talk) 20:24, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- and ofcourse, to be a good wikipedia contributor! Thesazh (talk) 20:25, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- I know... Admins admittably are hard to win over, but that is good. Tankishguy :)(: (talk) 20:55, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- and ofcourse, to be a good wikipedia contributor! Thesazh (talk) 20:25, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- I will concur. With the "blatantly lying" part. They already hired someone to create a page that you have a COI with?
- Thesazh, you have clearly not read the paid editing policy with sufficient care. It does not matter that you were not paid specifically to edit. If you are paid for PR of any sort, you are considered a paid editor.
