アメリカ合衆国の州の石一覧（あめりかがっしゅうこくのしゅうのいしいちらん）では、州の象徴として定められている鉱物・岩石（石）・宝石について解説する。アメリカ合衆国の各州では、その州の天然資源や歴史、観光などへの関心を高めるため州の鉱物・岩石（石）・宝石を定めることがよくあるが、すべての州にあるわけではない。下の表中、州の象徴またはエンブレムとして正式に採用された年を括弧に入れて示した。

  1. ^  1965年、カリフォルニア州は公式に州の石を定めた最初の州となった。2010年、ロサンゼルス選出の民主党上院議員グロリア・J・ロメロが中心となって、蛇紋岩を州の石から外そうとする動きがあった。中皮腫その他の癌の原因となるアスベストを内包しており、アスベスト疾患啓発団体などの団体はこの動きを支持した。地質学者たちは、蛇紋岩に触った程度では害はないと主張し、法案に反対した。法案は可決することなく消滅した[73]。1986年、カリフォルニア州はベニト石を州の宝石に指定した。宝石品質で発見されるのはこの州のサンベニート郡のみ[74]。
  2. ^  コロラド州は、星条旗の色にもとづいて州の石を定めた唯一の州である。すなわち菱マンガン鉱は赤、Yule marbleは白、アクアマリンは青。
  3. ^  アポロ計画の月ロケットはフロリダ州から打ち上げられたので、州議会は「人類にとっての大きな一歩」を記憶するため、ムーンストーンを州の宝石に定めた。なお、ムーンストーンはフロリダ州には産出しない[75]。
  4. ^  1965年3月、州内の観光を活性化させるためオレゴン州の上院はサンダーエッグをオレゴンの州の岩石に指定する法案を可決した。ウォームスプリングスの先住民の間では、フッド山とジェファーソン山の火口に住む雷の精が作ったと言われている[76][77]。
  5. ^  ウェストバージニア州は2009年、石炭産業が「州の経済的・社会的基盤の不可欠な一部」であるとする決議を行い、瀝青炭を州の岩石として制定した。石炭を州のシンボルとする運動は、ウェストバージニア州ウォーンクリフの女子高校生が学校行事でプロジェクトを立ち上げ、2,500人の署名を集めたことがきっかけで始まった[78]。
