伦纳德·伍德

伦纳德·伍德 (Leonard Wood,1860年10月9日 - 1927年8月7日) 是美国陆军少将、軍人医生和官僚。生于溫切斯特,在哈佛医学院获得医学博士学位后成为一名军医。他曾任美国陆军参谋长、古巴总督和菲律宾总督。在美西战争期间,他是美國第一志願騎兵團指揮官,當時西奥多·罗斯福是他的副手。他曾獲頒荣誉勋章。
1919年西奥多·罗斯福去世后,许多罗斯福的支持者在1920年共和党全国代表大会上呼籲提名伍德代表共和黨競選總統。伍德在大会的前四轮投票中获得的选票數量最多,但共和党最终提名沃伦·盖玛利尔·哈定代表該黨競選總統。
