医学词典（英語：medical dictionary）是有关医学术语的词库。
美国四大医学词典分别是《莫斯比医学、护理与健康专业词典》、《斯特德曼氏》、《泰伯氏》和《道兰氏》。其他重要的医学词典由爱思唯尔出版发行。
词典通常有多个版本，内容针对不同的用户群体进行调整。例如，斯特德曼简明医学词典和道兰词典适用于一般用途和专职医疗保健，而全文版则是医学生、医生和卫生专业人员使用的参考书。医学词典通常以印刷版、在线版或可下载的软件包形式提供，供个人电脑和智能手机使用。

已知最早的医学术语词汇表是在公元前1600年左右撰写的埃及莎草纸上发现的。[1] 现代医学词典的其它前身包括公元一世纪根据《希波克拉底文集》编纂的术语表。[2][3]
《Synonyma Simonis Genuensis》（热那亚的西蒙的同义词）被认为是1288年教皇尼古拉四世的御医所作，由安东尼乌斯·扎罗图斯（Antonius Zarotus）于1473年在米兰印刷。 亨利（Henry）于1905年引用了费城内科医学院图书馆保存的一份副本，写道：“这是第一本医学词典的第一版。[4] 然而，这一说法存在争议，因为该书仅列出了草药和药物。[3] 到了安东尼奥·瓜伊内里（Antonio Guaineri，于1440年逝世[5]）和萨沃纳罗拉的时期，这部作品与奥里巴修斯、塞维利亚的圣依西多禄、蒙迪诺·德·卢齐、小塞拉皮翁和阿巴诺的彼得罗等人的作品一起使用。当时，正如现在一样，作家们对早期希腊语、拉丁语、希伯来语和阿拉伯语作品的各种译本中使用的术语感到困惑。雅克·德帕尔（Jacques Desparts）和雅各布·贝伦加里奥·达·卡尔皮的后期作品继续以“同义词”（Synonyma）为基础。[6][7]
定义

- 简单易懂，[8] 最好是普及大众[9]
- 在临床上[9] 或在将使用该定义的相关领域中很有用。[8]
- 具体来说，[8] 即仅通过阅读定义，理想情况下不可能引用除所定义的实体之外的任何其他实体。
- 可衡量[8]
- 反映当前的科学知识[8][9]
