格林威治標準時間2025年11月3日，一列由Avanti West Coast營運的客運列車在英格蘭坎布里亞郡夏普郊區西海岸幹線上，撞上傾瀉山泥後脫軌，造成4人輕傷。
事故
[编辑]事發於清晨6時10分，一列從格拉斯哥中央車站開往倫敦尤斯頓車站的Avanti West Coast客運列車，在距離夏普峰約1英里（約1500米）處出軌。涉事列車為編號390 117[1]的英國鐵路390「潘多利諾」列車[2]，班次為1R22[3]，於凌晨4時28分由格拉斯哥出發。列車行駛時速約80英里（130公里），撞上傾瀉山泥後出軌[4]。
照片顯示，首節車廂的兩個轉向架以及第二節車廂的前轉向架脫離路軌[5]。車上共有87人，包括77名乘客和10名車組人員[6]，全數沿鐵路步行撤離至附近的夏普韋爾斯酒店。事件中四人輕傷[7]，另有部分乘客受驚[3]。至早上10時40分，所有乘客均已安全撤離並安排繼續行程[8]。
善後與影響
[编辑]西北救護服務曾將事故列為重大事件，並於上午10時20分解除[7]。事故導致卡萊爾站至普雷斯頓站之間的西海岸幹線交通嚴重受阻，預計需時多日方可恢復[3]。Avanti West Coast呼籲旅客當日不要前往普雷斯頓以北地區[5]。奔寧特快的列車亦因同樣原因無法在卡萊爾站與普雷斯頓站之間行駛，當局呼籲民眾盡量避免出行[7]。
脫軌列車於11月3日至4日夜間被重新上軌並移走[4]，並由機車編號57 309的英國鐵路57型機車將之拖往卡萊爾站[1]。西海岸幹線經夏普一段於11月4日晚上7時19分重新開放[9]，英國鐵路網公司指出列車時刻表將於翌日（11月5日）恢復正常運作[8]。
當地英國國會議員方偉倫及英國火車司機工會秘書長米克·惠蘭事後均發表聲明，促請政府為英國鐵路網公司提供充足資金，以防止同類事故重演[9]。
調查
[编辑]鐵路事故調查處已派員到現場展開調查[10]。英國鐵路網公司及鐵路和公路辦公室亦各自啟動獨立調查[11][5]。
