蒙哥馬利·馬歇琉斯·「胡特」·皮爾森（英語：Montgomery Marcellus "Hoot" Pearson，1908年9月2日—1978年1月27日），為前美國職棒大聯盟的投手，生涯曾效力於印地安人(今守護者)、洋基與紅人等隊。

皮爾森生涯在季後賽的每局被上壘率僅0.729，至今仍是大聯盟紀錄。1938年，他在舊洋基體育場投出該球場史上第一場無安打比賽。

職業生涯

皮爾森從1929年開始挑戰職棒，[1]1931年，他繳出17勝16敗，防禦率4.46的成績。他也靠著他的曲球獲得印地安人的注意。

1932年，皮爾森登上大聯盟，但他在初登板僅投1.2局便狂失6分。[2]他生涯前8場比賽防禦率高達10.13，因此遭到下放小聯盟。隔年他在小聯盟投出11勝5敗，防禦率3.41。[3]後來他回到大聯盟，並拿下10勝5敗，防禦率2.33。要不是投球局數不夠，否則皮爾森將會空降成為該年的防禦率王。[4]

1934年，皮爾森拿下18勝13敗，防禦率4.52。[5]但他在隔年只拿下8勝13敗，防禦率4.90。球季結束後，印地安人將他和Steve Sundra交易到洋基，換來Johnny Allen。[6]

生涯後期

1941年8月21日，紅人將皮爾森下放到小聯盟。他只在小聯盟先發一場，成功投出完投勝。[32]後來他在8月27日宣布退休。

個人生活

皮爾森在1931年結婚，並育有兩子一女。[33]他其中一個兒子賴瑞曾在1959年選秀被參議員選走。[34]

1939年休賽季，皮爾森在打獵時險些被一名15歲的高中生以獵槍爆頭。[35]1942年，他退休後擔任消防員。[36]

1962年5月15日，皮爾森因為收受賄賂而遭逮捕，最終被判入獄8個月。[37]1978年1月27日，皮爾森因病去世，享年69歲。[38]

1958年，他在生涯唯一一次名人堂票選僅獲得一張選票。[42]而皮爾森的打擊能力也很不錯，他生涯打擊率為2成28，並敲出2轟與62分打點。他在世界大賽的打擊率為2成50，並有一次得分。
