血管紧张肽I转化酶(英語:Angiotensin-converting enzyme,又称为血管紧张素转化酶,简称为ACE,EC 3.4.15.1)是一种外肽酶。
化学属性
[编辑]人类血管紧张肽I转化酶化学式为C7380H11222O2461N1817S43Cl3Zn2[7][8](注,分子式计算结果考虑了部分注释糖基化糖链,计算时使用普遍形式的 N-连接(GlcNAc...)天冬酰胺Man9GlcNAc2,典型糖链和已注释的复杂型 N-连接(GlcNAc...)天冬酰胺Neu5Ac2Gal2GlcNAc4Man3糖链,以及二硫键翻译后修饰。)
分子量为:146829.26,等电点:5.89 ,由1277个氨基酸组成[9],在膜旁柄区域蛋白水解裂解后在血浆和其他体液中释放可溶性形式的血管紧张肽I转化酶。
功能

主要功能有以下两个:
血管紧张素转化酶因这两种功能而成为治疗高血压、心力衰竭、2型糖尿病和糖尿病肾病等疾病的理想靶点。血管紧张素转化酶抑制剂能减少血管紧张素II的生成,并增加缓激肽的活性。
此外,ACE也能催化血管紧张素-(1-9)转化为血管紧张素-(1-7)。
