Daniel Peter "Danny" Masterson (born March 13, 1976) is an American former actor and convicted rapist. He is known for his role as Steven Hyde in That '70s Show.[3]

On June 17, 2020, Masterson was charged with raping a 23-year-old woman in 2001, a 28-year-old woman in early 2003 and a 23-year-old woman in late 2003. The three counts come after a three-year investigation beginning in 2017.[4][5] On September 7, 2023, Masterson was convicted on two of three counts of rape and was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.[6]
