Welcome to the Getting Started guide for the Simple English Wikipedia. What you may not know is that we are not just an encyclopedia, but a wiki-community as well– and you can join us. If you don't have an account already, why not create one now? If you create an account, you can: See all the changes you have made to pages at this wiki on your contributions page, and in the histories of the pages themselves. Control the way this Wikipedia looks and works for you, including choosing a different "skin", at your settings page. Keep track of changes anyone has made to any pages you like in your watchlist. Things you can do Create an article Expand an article Simplify an article Clean up an article Update an article Merge (combine) many articles into one Other things you can do Fix double redirects (articles which direct to another redirected page) Fix orphan articles (articles with no links to them) Check facts in articles Check sources in articles Find an interesting fact in an article and propose the article for 'Did you know?' Making articles even better Some articles can be made into Good articles. Add articles or review ones there already. Improve or propose an article, so it can become Very good.
