Dimethyl ether
Dimethyl ether is an organic compound. It is a colorless gas. Dimethyl ether is the simplest ether, a type of compound where two organic functional groups are attached to one oxygen atom. For dimethyl ether, both of these groups are methyl. It has the chemical formula CH3OCH3 or (CH3)2O.
