Disney Jr. (formerly known as Playhouse Disney and Disney Junior) is a block of TV shows that is seen on the Disney Channel every weekday morning. It started playing on April 6, 1997. The shows in this block are made for preschoolers.

A separate Disney Jr. The Channel started on March 23, 2012. It plays many of the same shows as the block. Both the block and the channel are still airing.
