Rashmi Samant (born 4 November 1998) is an Indian student leader, activist, and author.[1][2][3] She came to prominence in 2021 after being elected as the first Indian woman president of the Oxford University Students' Union at the University of Oxford. Her election and subsequent resignation drew international attention and discussions on racism and Hinduphobia in Western universities.[4][5]
