Hasbara
Appearance
Hasbara, or the public diplomacy of Israel, is how the government of Israel and its supporters explain Israel’s actions and policies to people in other countries. Historically, this has evolved from being called "propaganda", to Hasbara, which is a Hebrew word that means "explanation".[1] In 2026, the budget includes NIS 2.35 billion for hasbara.[2]
